Flanagan Zoom Wine Tasting

Join Eric Flanagan as we taste through two of his signature wines.

Tasting includes 2 bottles, charcuterie board and Zoom Tasting Riley's Row

Sauvignon Blanc- A Mendocino SB made by Riley, Eric's daughter Riley

Beauty of 3 Red- A delicious Bordeaux style blend that is exclusive to restaurants.

Eric will be joining us at 6PM for a tasting where we will learn about each of the wines as well as the regions of California where Eric manages vineyards and grows fruit for his own wines as well as many of of Sonoma's premier winemakers.

Join us for an in depth tasting exploring the versatility of the pinot grape with Advanced Somm Greg Rivera

We will be covering the basics of tasting and try white, red and sparkling expressions of the grape.

There will be hors’deouvres to keep your belly happy while enjoying the tasting.

Greg Rivera is the Napa Valley Vintners Ambassador for the state of Florida and the Regional Manager – Southeast for the August Wine Group.

Formerly at The Breakers Palm Beach, GregRivera managed the Flagler Steakhouse Restaurant’s beverage program and supported the extensive employee training program by leading wine classes and mentoring his associates. Prior to entering into the wine profession, Rivera was a US Army combat officer and longtime executive. While collecting wines as a hobby and taking basic classes, he was bit by the “wine bug”and changed careers to pursue his passion. He received his Certified Sommelier credentials from the Court of Master Sommeliers and passed his Certified Specialist of Wine test. While attending the Culinary Institute of America-Greystone Basic and Advanced Wine Professional Immersion program from 2008 to 2009, he completed the program’s Advanced Certified Wine Specialist certification. In 2011, he received his Advanced Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and graduated from the Wine and Spirits Education Board’s Diploma program.

Currently, Greg is a candidate in the Master of Wine program. Among his many accolades, Greg earned the 2010 Ruinart Chardonnay Competition, and in 2012, he achieved the top scholastic scores of the Wines of Australia program. Later in 2012, he was the only sommelier to pass the advanced certification test administered by BARSMART, and the top USA bartender certification and education program. In 2015, he led the winning team, el Huaso, in the Wines of Chile Wine Bar Wars competition. In 2016, he was one of 12 judges selected to participate in the 40 th Anniversary of the Tasting of Paris. A member of the Society of Wine Educators and the Court of Master Sommeliers, Rivera has judged numerous wine competitions, participated in many South Florida, and conducted seminars for Full Circle Solutions.

A native of Santurce, Puerto Rico, Greg resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife Kristin.
